CoBiC: Context-dependent Bioambient Calculus
In biological phenomena like osmosis, the rate of flow of water molecules in or out of biological compartments depends on the solute concentration and on other forces, like hydrostatic pressure. A similar example is the passive transport of ions in and out the cell membrane. In this paper, we address the problem of faithfully modelling these kind of phenomena with an adequate process calculus. ...

متن کاملAn Abstract Machine for the Stochastic Bioambient calculus
This paper presents an abstract machine for the stochastic bioambient calculus. The abstract machine is proved sound and complete with respect to a novel stochastic semantics, and is also shown to preserve the reduction probabilities of the calculus. The machine is implemented as an extension to an existing simulator for stochastic pi-calculus.
متن کاملCut elimination for a calculus with context-dependent rules
Context dependent rules are an obstacle to cut elimination. A generalised sequent style formulation using deep inferences is helpful and may indeed be essential. First this is shown for a substructural, multiplicative, pure propositional calculus. Then we consider the extra problems induced by non-logical axioms and extend the results to additive connectives and quantifiers.

ions over hole variables, hole lling simply boils down to (multiple) -reduction. So, in our running example we get ( h: x:x( h x)y)( x:x)! x:x( ( x:x) x)y. In the case of composition, the rewrite relation involves some shifting of abstractions. For example, let C x:2 and D x( y:2) be two -contexts. Then the composition of the two, here denoted by C D, results in the context x:x( y:2). Note that...
